Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Analyze hair and scalp condition. Book appointments. Provide custom hair and scalp treatment. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Apply hair extensions. Clean and style wigs and hair pieces. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Hairstylist Trade Certification. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Hair braiding. Iron waving/curling. Permanents. Extensions. Twisting. Roller setting. Hair colouring techniques: Bleach. Dyes/tints. Frosting. Streaking/highlights. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills.
