*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and work Tuesday to Saturday. In this role, you will support the onsite owner in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for sustainability. *Responsibilities* * Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal customer experience. * Support the owner in social media posts, reels, stories. * Train, mentor, and recruit staff to build a high-performing sales team. * Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cash handling procedures. * Monitor inventory levels, and manage stock replenishment processes. * Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Collaborate with team members to create an engaging shopping experience for customers. *Qualifications* * Interest in sustainability * Proven experience in retail management or sales roles is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele. * Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate sales transactions. * Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory management. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities. * Knowledge and proficiency in social media posting, content creation. * Familiarity with a circular economy and waste reduction an asset. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a retail environment.
