Whether you are just starting your career or have demonstrated a lifelong love for helping other we have an opening for you! *Responsibilities:* · Assisting clients with various personal care activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming). · Perform light housekeeping duties. · Assist clients with meals. · Provide respite for families and care givers. · Transfer/position with mechanical life. · Documentation (e.g., reporting client concerns, progress notes, incident reports). *Core Requirements:* · Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification · Must have current CPR & First Aid, WHMIS, and Food Handlers. · Must have a current Criminal Records Check. · Must have a Valid driver?s license with access to a reliable vehicle on a daily basis. · Persons with related education and/or work experience and are enrolled in or are eligible to be enrolled in CCA RPL Program; students in nursing; and CCA programs may apply. *What we offer:* · Immediate Openings · $19.82-24.17 hr based on experience and qualifications · Kilometer rate paid · Benefits Package and Shift premiums (after probationary period) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $20.00-$24.17 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Automobile allowance * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Night shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Licence/Certification: * CCA Registrant (required) * Driving License, Vehicle Insurance (required) Work Location: In person- LocationSydney, NS
