*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a positive patient experience. *Duties* * Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments. * Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety and infection control protocols. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. * Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories. * Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. * Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and maintaining inventory of dental supplies. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. * Front desk duties *Experience* Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: * Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. * Knowledge of Periodontics is a plus. * Familiarity with dental software such as Abel Dent is advantageous. * Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Experience in dental receptionist duties is beneficial. * Certification in Dental Assisting is required.
