At Annie?s Seafood Restaurant we have been fish 'n chippin' since 1997 and we have staff that go back that entire time. We are a family owned and operated independant, in Stratford, ON. And we are the region's ONLY certified Gluten-free restaurant and have the only certified gluten-free food truck in Canada. We are innovative, fast-paced and fun.
*We are hiring a Sous Chef or Line Chef (new position)*
Annie?s Seafood Restaurant is a full-service restaurant that is open Tuesday through Sunday. We are looking for a qualified individual to work closely with our management team and support our rapidly growing kitchen. This includes preparing delicious food in a timely manner, and following up our kitchen processes according to specifications. We have a team of highly skilled individuals who take great pride in their work and strive to provide excellent customer service.
We are growing, and as this is a new position there is some flexibility in tailoring the role for the right individual. The position is year-round, permanent (not seasonal).

Seeking a talented individual who is passionate about great food, and is inspired to create memorable dining for all our guests. This position reports directly to the owner and is a great opportunity to gain some leadership experience. We are poised for significant expansion and are excited about our pace of growth in our niche.
Our future team member is energetic, is enthusiastic about dining, is organized, and enjoys routine but also isn?t afraid to venture down new paths. Most of our staff are long term, and we highly value their commitment to our team. Weekend dinner service on the line is key. This position would be described as 60% line cooking with out team on the weekend dinner shifts and the remainder is organizational, and working on our frozen foods line in particular on Mondays.
*Some of your duties will include*: Preparation of dishes to required specifications and modifications as requested for both our frozen foods line and for our restaurant. Together with our team create seasonal featured dishes (mains and starters). Maintain consistency in all kitchen activities and a clean as well as safe working environment. Assist with inventory management, order receiving, and maintain or elevate back of house standards and labour costing.
Create new dishes for our frozen foods as well as delegate their production.
As our restaurant is a key destination spot throughout the region for those with Celiac Disease, food allergies and sensitivities, our team mission is to provide the safest dining experience possible. Food Safety and other certifications will be required.
