*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck- Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, particularly with trailers and heavy equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and machinery, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Duties* * Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on trailers and associated equipment. * Utilize hand tools and industrial equipment to diagnose mechanical issues. * Conduct heavy lifting tasks as needed to facilitate repairs and maintenance. * Assemble components of trailers, ensuring proper functionality. * Weld parts as necessary to repair or modify trailer structures. * Work with farm machinery and other heavy equipment, including Caterpillar models and cranes. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with trailers or similar heavy equipment. * Proficiency in using hand tools and industrial equipment effectively. * Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. * Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus. * Experience with welding techniques is highly desirable. * Knowledge of HVAC systems is an advantage but not mandatory. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
