Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Dangerous. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Help medical examiner in charge. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Personal protective equipment (PPE) training. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Circular saws. Concrete saws. Mortar and concrete mixers. Drills. Hand tools. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Security and safety: Bondable. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
