*Job description*
We are a very busy and fast-moving retail store/service company in Newmarket, we offer an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Store Manager, reporting to and working in close collaboration with our management team.
*Job Summary*
Reporting to the management Team, the new Store Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and servicing new/existing accounts in the GTA area. They will work closely with our customers to provide sales and service tailored to their specific needs. This person will perform product demonstrations and using proven sales and marketing methods fulfilling the customers? needs.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Support the Ownership team with the daily operations of the store.
· Functions will include opening/closing, ordering/managing inventory, scheduling staff, scheduling service department and managing weekly deposits.
· Work with ownership team to maximize sales and build a high performing team.
· Attain monthly goals and targets, providing a monthly call report with an accurate P&L statement.
· Must be able to organize customer appointments and initiate sales calls to potential customers to maintain sales quotas.
· Work with exciting customers to fulfill their needs.
· Follow up any/all leads with the Outside Sales team; every lead must be put into the system and followed up with. (From start to end)
· Selling our products to residential/commercial customers in a professional manner
· Respond to current/new customer?s needs as requested on a timely manner. (Max 24-hour response time)
· Follow up with new customers pre-installation and post-sale of product. (Notes to be added to system)
· Discuss all products on a clearly understood level, answer customer?s questions and perform the technical aspects of the job.
*Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications*
· Previous Store manager experience is a definite asset with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales and scheduling with a proven successful track record.
· A versatile self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision.
· Positive attitude, work ethic, strong interpersonal and good communication skills, both written and oral.
· Pleasant, professional, friendly customer service demeanour is a must.
· Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skill.
· Strong mechanical aptitude.
· MUST be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter.
· Ability to work flexible schedule, some weekends required depending on the servicing of customers.
