Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Remove casts, sutures and pins. Collect statistics. Maintain supplies. Maintain inventory of equipment. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Perform general clerical duties. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail.
