Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division <p> invites applications for <p> Full- Time Interim Junior/Senior High Teacher <p>Slave Lake, AB <p> <p> St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy in Slave Lake, Alberta is seeking a Junior/Senior High Teacher to join our 7-12 learning team. Are you ready to join a collaborative and dynamic team of teachers working collectively to create a learning environment which fosters curiosity, exploration and love of learning in a faith-filled, safe, caring and inclusive environment? This is a 1.0 FTE interim position for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will include a significant portion of the day instructing Physical Education as well as some Complimentary Course offerings to be determined based on skills and interests of the successful applicant. <p> <p>Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications and experience in the following areas:<p> <p> · Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate <p> <p> · Commitment to Catholic Education <p> <p> · An enthusiastic and committed individual who is flexible and current in best teaching practices for Junior and Senior High Students <p> <p> · Experience in working in inclusive environments <p> <p> · Experience in working in a fast-paced collaborative environment <p> <p> · Experience with the collaborative response model <p> <p> · Experience with Fountas and Pinnell, Structured Word Inquiry and the Science of Reading <p> <p> · Experience with assistive technology. <p> <p> · Music and/or Art experience would be an asset<p>All individuals wishing to apply are asked to submit a resume, along with 3 references.
