By The Lake Dental is accepting resumes from professionals, who are looking to take on an active patient facing role. This is a full time opportunity to work within a great team environment. This is an excellent opportunity if you are: * An experienced dental assistant looking to take on a front office patient facing role * An experienced front desk/receptionist who can offer a concierge experience to our patients * A recent graduate from the Durham College Dental Administrative Program The ideal candidate will be someone who is outgoing and friendly, is passionate about their career and providing support to patients and the clinical team If you are an experienced professional, who is excited to work in a quality oriented, patient centered office, then we want to hear from you. *Responsibilities:* * Scheduling appointments to meet daily production goals * Submit claims and estimates to insurance companies * Respond to telephone and email inquires * Confirmation for patient appointments * Preparing and balance day end reports * Communicate effectively with Doctors and clinical staff *Requirements:* * Understanding of multi-provider scheduling, dental procedures and terminology * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Efficiently and effectively manage and prioritize workload * Proficiency working with Dentrix would be considered an asset *Hours* * This is a full time position with up to 40 hours per week * Must be available to work office schedule and two Saturday's per month Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Work Location: In person- LocationAjax, ON
