Job details
- Transport materials and loads between site locations and Morven Quarry -Complete daily equipment and vehicle checklists, inspect truck equipment, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Maintain truck log, according to MTO regulations. -Assist mechanic with preventative maintenance of vehicles, keep trucks clean and in good condition. -Maintain valid Ontario AZ or DZ driver?s license and insurable abstract. -Generate daily truck rental sheets for Company invoicing. -Promote a safe working environment by participating in tailgate/safety meetings; identification of hazards; and ensure proper use of PPE. *Qualifications:* -A minimum of 3 years experience is required -Valid A Class or D Class Driver?s license, Air Brake Endorsement (Z) -Clean abstract and CVOR -Driver record check and license validity check -Secondary (high school) certificate or equivalent -Excellent communication skills *Benefits:* -Work with a great team on unique and challenging projects -Competitive wages -Benefits package -Company RRSP -Safety boot allowance and PPE Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Greater Napanee, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * AZ/DZ driving: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * AZ/DZ driver's license (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGreater Napanee, ON
