Accounting Clerk The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining financial records such as full cycle bookkeeping duties, preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. *Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities* * Bookkeeping * Performing accounts receivable duties * Invoicing customers * Processing payments * Reconciliations * Performing accounts payable duties * Entering vendor invoices * Processing payments * Performing bank, credit card, and account reconciliations * Interacting with management, customers, and vendors * Bank and credit card reconciliation * Reviewing payroll, adding new employees, and making adjustments * Assisting with month end procedures as requested * Other duties as assigned *Skills & Abilities* * Thrives in a fast-paced environment * Possesses excellent attention to detail and time management skills * Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and use critical thinking skills * Initiative and drive to produce excellent results * Strong technology savvy * Exceptional communication and customer service skills * Eagerness and ability to learn and absorb new information quickly * Initiative to work with minimal instruction *Education and Experience* * 2-3 years of on-the-job experience in a bookkeeping capacity * 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience * Experience with Payworks is an asset *Job Parameters* * Reports to the Controller * Works in office * Permanent, Full-Time Position * Regular hours are M-F 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with 30-min lunch and breaks * 37.5 hours a week Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Winnipeg, MB R2X 2W3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Accounting: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-05- LocationWinnipeg, MB
