The position is permanent, on-site mode and with great benefits.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES <br> <br>Help desk management <br>* Respond to all problems and malfunctions, providing advice and <br>assistance as needed; <br>* Oversee the maintenance of a range of equipment ranging from workstations to <br>servers and networks. <br>Network Administration <br>network infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, switches and routers; <br>* Work with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues <br>techniques; <br>Database Administration <br>* Optimized performance and resource control of various databases <br>data; <br>* Communicate regularly with technical personnel, personnel in the <br>applications and operational staff to ensure the integrity and security of the database <br>of data; <br>* Commission and install new applications; <br>* In charge of backups, restores, installations and upgrades; <br>* Assist in the development of new projects and systems, when required. <br> <br>IT Administration <br>* Supervise the installation, configuration and deployment of workstations (including <br>including software and operating systems, productivity software and <br>business applications that are associated with the company), servers, equipment <br>data center and security tools; <br>* Oversee troubleshooting and internal customer support; <br>* Perform needs analyzes for business projects involving IT; <br>* Research, price and recommend technology purchases for <br>projects and daily operations; <br>* Articulate technical requirements for departmental IT initiatives; <br>* Manage relationships with external companies for services, support and <br>questions regarding products, including contractors, developers and <br>other suppliers;</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS <br> <br>Education & Experience <br>* University degree in computer science and/or related field <br>related or equivalent work experience); <br>* 5-7 years of experience in support, implementation and/or administration <br> <br>Knowledge & Qualifications <br>* Familiarity with web tools and technology; understand the problems of <br>network; ideally have relevant server experience; <br>* In-depth practical and technical knowledge of systems- <br>networks, protocols and standards such as: Ethernet, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VoIP, <br>Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing, etc.; <br>* Ability to work closely with IT project managers, <br>database programmers and web developers; <br>* Skills in project management and effective management of resources in <br>the execution of several projects; <br>* Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues and errors. <br>system and applications; <br>* Solid skills in project management and have a recognized track record at the level of <br>execution of business strategies; <br>* In-depth understanding of hardware and systems, including the equipment of the <br>data center, servers, desktop computers, mobile devices, <br>network infrastructures and security tools. <br>Personal attributes <br>* Be flexible and able to adapt in order to assimilate and understand new <br>technology; <br>* Professional spoken and written interpersonal communications; <br>* Highly mot- LocationMontréal, QC
