We have a full-time pharmacy assistant position opening at our Eganville location. Pharmacy assistant experience valued but not required. We offer on-the-job training, access to courses to develop your skills as a pharmacy assistant with the ability to specialize within our company. *`Responsibilities:`* - Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients - Prepare and package medications for distribution - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Enter prescription information into computer systems - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare providers - Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and maintaining records *`Experience:`* - Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment - Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy software systems Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.50-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationEganville, ON
