Laclie Guardian Pharmacy is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We are a small town pharmacy at heart with customer service at its core. We strive to give our very best to each customer we interact with and you will be an integral part of that interaction. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys interacting and assisting customers, and can perform detail oriented tasks well. Duties would include some or all of the following: -Intake: greeting customers, gathering patient information and drug plan information and accurately entering it into the computer; answering phone calls; scanning prescriptions to ensure accurate record keeping -Input: accurately inputting and billing prescriptions in Propel (pharmaclick RX). -Counting: accurately selecting the right medication for the prescription and preparing the prescription -Roamer: helping where needed and rotating through all positions to cover for staff breaks and lunches - Cashier: Bagging and organizing prescriptions by last name to facilitate quick pickup and check out; greeting customers as they pick up their prescriptions and using the point of sale computer to cash them out. - Answering phones: Answering general pharmacy questions and forwarding calls to pharmacists when needed. Writing out prescription and non-prescription orders to be filled. - Calling patients - Cleaning the pharmacy area when needed to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment The successful applicant will need to be able to consistently put on a smile and warmly greet customers, be able to work well in a team, and perform detail oriented tasks calmly and accurately. Prior pharmacy or customer service experience is an asset but not required. Prior experience with pharmaclikRX (PropelRx) an asset but not required. We are currently open M-F 9-6, Sat 9-5. Salary: entry level starts at $17.50/hour, higher hourly wages may be offered to those with prior pharmacy experience.
