*Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need, particularly focusing on their unique challenges. This position requires a strong understanding of patient care, as well as the ability to conduct thorough data collection and case management. *Responsibilities* * Assess clients' needs through interviews, observations, and data collection. * Develop and implement individualized care plans for children and families. * Provide counseling and support to patients dealing with various emotional and psychological issues. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress. * Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services. * Conduct research on best practices in social work, particularly in pediatrics and special education. * Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to patient care. *Skills* * Strong background in patient care. * Experience working with children, youth, and adults understanding their unique needs and challenges. * Proficiency in data collection methods for effective case management. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to social work practices. * Knowledge of research methodologies applicable to social work, especially in pediatrics. * Ability to navigate the complexities of special education systems. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and professionals. * Empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving skills to support clients effectively.
