<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>About This Job</strong></p><p>BALANCED+ seeks a <span class="long-word">Network/Cybersecurity</span> Engineer to provide network technical support, analyze client cybersecurity posture, and execute cybersecurity projects for our diverse business clients.</p><p>This person must be a flexible self-starter with strong communication skills, a strong and positive attitude, and hands-on experience in computer networking and network security products.</p><p>Individuals would be responsible for servicing our client network troubleshooting requests, deploying new or upgrading old network equipment, and providing sound advice regarding their cybersecurity infrastructure.</p><p>We are looking for experienced people with directly related college diplomas or university degrees.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>MUST have Fortinet certification NSE4. NSE 7 is a plus.</strong></p><ul><li>Perform cybersecurity gap analysis of client's infrastructure</li><li>Design and install well-functioning computer networks, connections, and cabling connections</li><li>Perform troubleshooting to network failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long-term efficiency of network</li><li>Inspect LAN/WAN/Internet infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs</li><li>Test and configure software and maintain and repair network devices</li><li>Evaluate network performance and find ways of improvement</li><li>Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work</li><li>Do regular data backups to protect the organization's information</li><li>Provide technical direction to co-workers on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instructions</li><li>Coordinating with vendors to resolve technical problems with network equipment and software</li><li>Collaborating with peers to execute daily operations and special projects</li><li>Maintaining records of client's information systems and ensuring compliance at all levels within project teams</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements</li><li>Proven experience as a network technician or relevant position</li><li>Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills</li><li>Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies</li><li>Hands-on experience with common software and hardware</li><li>Hands-on knowledge of the Fortinet line of products, specifically FortiGate, FortiEDR, FortiSwitch, FortiWifi, FortiSIEM, and FortiSOAR</li><li>Fortinet certifications are required (NSE4 minimum, NSE7 prefered)</li><li>Knowledge and experience in delivering network engineering, and cybersecurity solutions</li><li>3+ years of work experience in a professional environment is preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Cloud (Azure, Cloud VPN, Cloud FortiGate)</li><li>Cybersecurity (VPN, MFA, EDR/XDR, MDR, phishing simulation, spam filtering)</li><li>Ability to manage monitoring (Zabbix) and ticketing (Zendesk) systems</li><li>Project management, time organization</li></ul><p><strong>Other</strong></p><ul><li>University or college degree in software development, computer science, engineering, or math (or in progress)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with emerging technologies</li><li>Travel to/from the client site will be reimbursed (car required)</li><li>Your performance will be evaluated every quarter, direct feedback will be provided, and <span class="long-word">personal/professional</span> development will be appreciated financially</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>We're seeking talented, motivated, and creative individuals to join our excellent team.</div></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>We're seeking talented, motivated, and creative individuals to join our excellent team.</div>- LocationMississauga, ON
