Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Move and align subassemblies and components. Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies. Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Reliability. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Veterans: Supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market . Support for Indigenous people: Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers .
