Our mission is to work with our educational partners to inspire engaged, compassionate, resilient lifelong learners and cultivate a collaborative community together.<p>We invite applications for the temporary position of: 0.60 Grades K-7 Teacher Counsellor<p> Please note this temporary position will end June 30, 2025 or upon return of the incumbent.<p>The successful candidate will have: Master's Degree in Educational Counselling or related field (must include a 300 hour supervised, school based practicum at the appropriate level)<p> Successful teaching experience at the Elementary school level<p> Experience in counselling at the required level<p> A good understanding of the therapies relevant to Elementary school-aged children<p> Experience and demonstrated ability to provide individual and group counselling services to students<p> Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies<p> Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamOur educational team is committed to engaging learners to develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication and social competencies.
