Full Kindergarten Teacher or Kindergarten Facilitator <p>Yellowhead Koinonia Christian School<p>Under the direction of the Principal, the Full Kindergarten Teacher or Kindergarten Facilitator will work collaboratively to plan and implement a full 5-day Kindergarten program within a classroom setting. They will provide supervision and age-appropriate programming to a group of 7 students with the support of an Educational Assistant . The Early Childhood Educator will collaborate in the design of programming and create a faith-based environment which will enhance children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.<p>Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in Kindergarten/Early Childhood Education programs and have a vibrant Christian Faith.<p>Responsibilities:<p>- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the early childhood program<p>- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow<p>- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning<p>- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and development<p>- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones<p>- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment<p>- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies<p>Qualifications:<p>- Teacher Certification or Level -1/2/3 Early Childhood Educator certification <p>- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a classroom<p>- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written<p>- Experience in early childhood education or childcare is preferred<p>- Proficient in computer operation for administrative tasks<p>- Strong time management skills to effectively plan and prioritize tasks<p>We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
