Perks!</span></strong><span> </span></span></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Competitive salary, with overtime available</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Excellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Tool allowance </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Uniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear provided</span></span></li> <li><span><span>RRSP Match</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Safety-minded organization</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Stable, year-round employment</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Continuous training, learning and development opportunities</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Fun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility</span><span> </span></span></li> </ul> </div> </div><p><span><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong> </span></p> <p><span><em>Duties and Responsibilities:</em> </span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of aerial construction equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, etc.</span></li> <li><span>Perform preventative maintenance on equipment on customer jobsites. </span></li> <li><span>Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs on customer jobsites. </span></li> <li><span>Test repaired equipment for proper performance on customer jobsites. </span></li> <li><span>Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.</span></li> <li><span>Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders in a thorough and timely manner. </span></li> <li><span>Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team</strong> </span></p> <p><span><em>Qualifications and Requirements:</em> </span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>5 years of mechanical experience, preferably working on construction equipment.</span></li> <li><span>Minimum 2 years of experience working on aerial equipment is preferred.</span></li> <li><span>Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (heavy equipment or truck and transport) would be an asset but is not required.</span></li> <li><span>Valid Class G driver’s license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).</span></li> <li><span>Must have a complete set of tools.</span></li> <li><span>Must be available to work overtime as required.</span></li> <li><span>Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.</span></li> <li><span>Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors.</span></li> <li><span>Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent problem-solving skills.</span></li> <li><span>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional manner.</span></li> <li><span>Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.</span></li> <li><span>Pride in what you do!</span></li> </ul><p><span>Want to learn more about this as well as other opportunities at Cooper?
