If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply. _Responsibilities:_ * Excellent internal and external customer service skills * High level of integrity and work ethic * Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all time * Assist with receiving of inventory and ensure procedures/standards are adhered to * High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment * Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment * Great team member who will always lead by positive example * Operation of a Point of Sale terminal * Dispense propane & other petroleum products * Provide proper maintenance and sanitization of equipment * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Assist with operational & administrative tasks * Loss prevention * Ability to perform open and close duties as required * Evenings and Weekends with some day shifts Requirements: Relevant experience preferred *Demonstrates Pembina West Co-op Values (Community, Integrity, Respect) in daily behaviors *Lives the brand ?You?re At Home Here? *High level of integrity and work ethic with ability to lead by example * Planning, organizational and prioritization skills *Leadership skills with focus on employee engagement * Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing *Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment* *Qualifications* * Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional service * Ability to lead and guide a team in a fast-paced environment * Capable of handling heavy lifting tasks efficiently and safely * Proficient in POS systems, cash handling, and basic math * Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues * Prior experience in retail sales and cashiering roles * Multilingual abilities and experience in upselling are a plus Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $15.25-$23.80 per hour Expected hours: 24 ? 31 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Employee assistance program * Store discount * Wellness program Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Morning shift * Night shift * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Barrhead, AB T7N 1A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationBarrhead, AB
