Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware. Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand. Prepare, heat and finish simple food items. Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment. Remove kitchen garbage and trash. Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Supports for visible minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.- LocationSt. John's, NL
