*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant, ideally with compounding experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient service within a hospital or clinical setting. *Duties* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications and health products. * Maintain accurate patient records and assist in the documentation of medication administration. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety protocols and quality assurance measures. * Support the pharmacy team in daily operations, including cleaning and organizing workspaces. *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a hospital setting is preferred. * Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration processes is essential. * Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. * A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
