*Overview* We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have pet care experience and knowledge of canine and/or feline nutrition. Previous retail experience is an asset. Must have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, and excellent communication skills are critical. *Responsibilities and Requirements* * Have an energetic and positive vibe! * Be polite, respectful & trustworthy * Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a professional manner * Have a passion for learning about products we offer * Process orders, returns, and exchanges * Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner * Be able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time * Restocking of shelves * Receiving deliveries accurately and efficiently * Maintain a clean and organized store and working environment * Collaborate with the team to meet customer needs * Be committed, reliable, flexible and self-motivated. *Qualifications* * Animal care and basic understanding of canine and feline nutrition * Strong ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions * Proven sales experience * Ability to uphold phone etiquette standards * Be physically able safely to lift up to 30lb bags of dry dog food * Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic operational knowledge of Google Docs * Fluent in English * Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written * Retail experience using a POS system Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 44 per week Benefits: * Discounted or free food * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Please write up to three paragraphs about your pets and your care of them Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * Customer service: 3 years (required) * Pet Care: 3 years (required) Language: * English (required) Location: * Oakville, ON L6M 3G3 (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationOakville, ON
