Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals we endeavor to provide the highest level of care to those affected by life-altering chronic diseases supporting both patients and families alike. PerCuro is growing again so we are looking for two infusion nurses to complement our current IV team at Yates. This is a Monday to Friday day time position and our focus is to find persons compatible with our full staffing team. If necessary, we are able to train or refresh IV skills. We are offering a competitive salary as well as a benefit package should you work 30 hours or more weekly. After one year of employment, there is an opportunity to participate in an RRSP plan should you wish. *Qualifications and Requirements:* · Excellent IV skills · Critical thinking skills · Organized, focused and give full attention to detail · Enjoy a busy environment, able to multitask with initiative; this is a fast paced clinic · Compassion and empathy as we deal with persons coping with chronic illness · Effective communicator comfortable dealing with a wide variety of backgrounds with our patients and medical professionals · Team player able to work with a very diverse group of individuals *Duties and Responsibilities:* · Initiate IV?s and administer biologic or biosimilar medications as per protocol · Monitor patient during infusion · Assess patient for effectiveness of treatment and collaborate with co-workers/physicians when necessary · Completion of appropriate post infusion and Adverse Event reports Please respond only if you are willing to make a firm long term commitment to the position.
