Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Install underground wiring and cables. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Splice, join and connect wires. Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Conduct preventive maintenance programs. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Working at heights training. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Apprenticeship training: Pre-apprenticeship training. Level one apprenticeship training. Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional electrical devices. Motors and controls. Hand tools. Security and safety: Bondable. Basic security clearance. Criminal record check.
