Overview Languages Required: English Education * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Experience 5 years or more On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Tasks * Identify clients' financial goals and objectives * Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements * Plan, set up and administer accounting systems * Supervise staff * Train staff * Analyze clients' financial records * Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control * Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies * Prepare financial statements and reports * Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices * Prepare income tax returns from accounting records * Analyze financial documents and reports * Examine accounting records * Provide financial, business and tax advice * Negotiate mortgage loans and make application for mortgage to lenders or lending institutions on behalf of client * Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits * Variance analysis * Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems Supervision * 3-4 people Credentials: Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses * Canadian Securities Course (CSC) * Chartered Accountants (CA) Designation * Canadian Institute of Financial Planning Course Experience and specialization: Computer and technology knowledge * Tally ERP * Accounting software * Quick Books * Caseware/Caseview * MS Office * Internet * MS Excel * MS Windows * MS PowerPoint * Xero * MS Outlook Area of specialization * Financial planning * Accounting Benefits: Other benefits * Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 per week Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationUnionville, ON
