*Overview* We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team at McCabes Irish Pub located on Richmond Street in London Ontario. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our business while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage time efficiently. The Assistant Manager will assist in driving sales, training staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. *Duties* * Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company policies. * Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. * Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer issues. * Manage inventory levels, including cash handling and paperwork responsibilities. * Support recruiting efforts by participating in the hiring process and onboarding new employees. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both employees and customers. *Skills* * Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. * Experience in cash handling and keeping track of inventory * Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to keep a safe and healthy work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 45 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Restaurant management: 3 years (required) * Restaurant experience: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve (required) Work Location: In person- LocationLondon, ON
