Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team. This is a part-time position, up to .6 Available to work 12pm to 8pm and occasional weekends/holidays (10am-4pm). The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings such as hospitals, medical offices, urgent care centres. Duties: - Triage patients accordingly - Provide patient care and support under the direction of the on-call physician - Administer treatments as prescribed, suture removals, wound care, injections - Monitor patient vital signs as required, urine dips, throat/vaginal swabs - Assist with medical procedures and examinations (biopsies, sutures, removals, I&D, circumcisions, IUD insertions) - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Basic reception duties: registering patients, answering phone Experience: - Previous experience in medical office, hospital, urgent care clinic/walk in clinic, home care settings Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience Requirements: English Required- speaking/reading/writing - french/other languages not required but welcomed - Valid CNO nursing license and proof of liability insurance (RPNAO, etc) - CPR certification - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent patient care - Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team setting Job Type: Part-time Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 30 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Nurse (RN/RPN) License (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-04- LocationOakville, ON
