*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. * Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and schematics. * Install and repair electrical systems (heating, lighting, power, communication and security systems) to code and customer specifications. * Install conduit, wire, devices and fixtures. * Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety of components. * Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and repair issues. * Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. * Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. * Review completed job with Owner to ensure customer satisfaction. *Requirements* * 309A Licence * Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot electrical problems and repair electrical issues * Excellent communication and problem solving skills. * Valid G class driver?s licence with a clean driving record (required) * Up to date Health and Safety certificates including (WHMIS, First Aid, CPR, Fall Arrest, Elevated Platform, Lock Out & Tag Out, Arch Flash, Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps, Asbestos Awareness) * Ability to obtain both an OPP Clearance and Triton Canada Background Check are a requirement of this position. * Committed to safety and excellence in their work. * Proven computer literacy skills * Willingness to travel (potentially up to two nights per month out of town) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Orillia, ON L3V 2K1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Journeyman Electrician: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * 309A Electrical Licence (required) * Class G Licence (required) Willingness to travel: * 25% (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-02 Expected start date: 2024-11-18- LocationOrillia, ON
