We are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our team! As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing E & I designs that supports our diverse range of projects. This position will be based in Grande Prairie. *MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES* Depending on the candidate's experience and aspirations, the role may include the following in the context of an Industrial market sector: * Control system design (PLC, DCS, RTU etc.) * Power distribution design * Short circuit, arc flash, and fault analysis * Motor control and protection system design * Electric heat trace design * Electrical specifications * Vendor evaluation and coordination * Equipment layout designs, lighting layouts and design, cable schedules, and cable tray layouts * Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers and technologists * Attend client meetings and serve as lead electrical designer on projects * Assist in the development of company technical standards and procedures *QUALIFICATIONS* * Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or equivalent. * 4-10 years applicable electrical engineering experience. * Experience on conventional oil and gas projects is an asset. * Detailed knowledge of the Canadian Electrical code and additional industry standards. * Drive to continue to improve existing knowledge base and skill-sets. * Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules. * Significant field experience and knowledge is an asset. * Canadian citizen or permanent resident. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Valid Class 5 driver?s license, and available to attend out of office meetings. * Required to live or relocate to the Grande Prairie or Edmonton region. *MORE REASONS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!* Looking for an engaging and dynamic workplace to learn and grow?
