The Quality Potlight family specializes in electrical work on finished residential homes. We are looking for a permanent full time lead electrician. We work an average of 50 hours per week. Please make sure you are willing to commit yourself to long hours and Saturdays before applying. We work in mostly finished and occupied residential homes and condo buildings. Therefore, cleanliness and awareness of your surroundings are two very important requirements for this position. Please note, we fish wires through closed ceilings most of the time to ensure minimal damage and disruption to the occupied home. We have a second division called Condo Potlight which specializes in lighting solutions for condos. This involves working in occupied condos to install our patented product called LightBox?. You can view www.Condopotlight.com for more details. Wages are based on your ability to learn, performance and previous experience. Our wages for lead electricians range from $32 to $40 (with a bonus). Master Electricians start at $40. Your starting wage will be determined within the first few days of working with us and will quickly rise according to performance improvements. We work all over the GTA and travel time is paid. Departure is from Markham, unless you chose to drive yourself. Training will be provided. You will need to bring/purchase some basic tools such as a wire stripper and a small impact drill.
