*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled *Network Engineer* with *CCNA certification* and strong knowledge of *Azure* and cloud infrastructure to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems, integrating cloud services, and ensuring robust network performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems, network protocols, and administration tools. The Network Engineer will play a critical role in supporting our organization?s connectivity needs and enhancing our overall IT capabilities. *Duties* * Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure reliable connectivity across the organization. * Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, speed, and security. * Implement security measures to safeguard the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats. * Manage Cisco routers and switches, ensuring proper configuration for optimal routing protocols including EIGRP. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support VoIP systems and ensure seamless communication across platforms. * Conduct regular backups of network configurations and maintain documentation for all network changes. * Provide support for various operating systems including Windows, Solaris, Ubuntu, and SAN environments. * Utilize SSH for secure remote access to network devices and systems. * Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the organization's networking capabilities. *Requirements* * Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. * Proven experience in network administration with a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. * Proficiency in configuring Cisco routers and switches; familiarity with EIGRP is a plus. * Experience with VoIP technology implementation and management. * Knowledge of various operating systems including Windows, Solaris, Ubuntu, and SAN solutions. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively. * Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Education: * *CCNA Certification* (required) * Experience with *Azure network services* (VPNs, Virtual Network, Network Security Groups, etc.) * Strong understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals. * Knowledge of routing, switching, IP addressing, subnetting, and VLANs. * Proficiency with firewall and security technologies. * Experience with network monitoring and management tools. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot complex network issues.
