We are looking for a Medical Receptionist for our Liberty Village location located conveniently around Bathurst and King. You will be directly assisting our Family Practice and Walk-In.
*In addition to hands on responsibilities on the front desk, Typical duties will include:*
* Greeting patients in a professionally and efficient;
* Answer phones and manage requests in a professional manner;
* Processing faxes, referrals, emails and physical mail;
* Monitor and answer online requests and messages;
* Schedule appointments with patients;
* Billing, invoicing and receipt preparation (for non-OHIP services);
* Maintaining patient privacy & confidentiality;
* Being able to deal with stress in a productive manner;
* Create and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere;
* Have strong problem solving skills and ability to multitask;
* Collaboration with our physicians and nursing staff
*What you will need to be successful:*
* 1-3 years progressive experience in a medical/dental clinic environment; Specialist clinic is preferred
* Experience with an EMR system; PS Suite Preferred
* High degree of accuracy
* Strong organizational skills;
* Strong patient experience background
*Education:*
* College or university degree/diploma
* Diploma from a recognized medical office administration program desirable.
*Hours of work:*
* Monday- Friday 12pm to 8pm

Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Morning shift
* Weekends as needed
Experience:
* Medical office: 1 year (preferred)
* EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* MOA (preferred)
