Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences or assemblies. Load and unload goods. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel for extended periods. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
