Job Title - Cook Alexandra?s Pizza is looking for some kitchen help. All we need is an enthusiastic worker, no experience required but it will be an asset if you have. All type of training will be provided. The Company: Since the first Alexandra?s opened in 1991 on Queen Street, Halifax, we have been serving pizza and other fast food to the people of the Halifax Peninsula. Within no time, loyal customers spread the word about the ?best pizza around?. Alexandra?s expanded to different locations across Nova Scotia. In 2018, we opened another location in Charlottetown, PE and quickly becoming the favorite of residents in that area. Although known for its large variety of pizza combinations and the fresh hot pizza slices available through the week. Alexandra?s also serves a large selection of sandwiches, salads, snacks and of course, their famous Poutine...voted ?BEST IN TOWN? by the readers of The Coast magazine. The reputation of Alexandra?s poutine was confirmed when a guest host on a local radio station lamented the lack of good local poutine. The station was flooded with calls from Alexandra?s devotees expressing their love of the ?BEST IN TOWN?. The Position: We?re looking for a Cook who can also help with some prep work as well as making orders. The pay we?re offering is $15.40 - $17.4/hr depending on experience. We offer 10 vacation days every year. Number of Vacancies: 2 Skill Requirements: Previous cooking experience would be a plus not mandatory; we are looking for a reliable person who can speak atleast basic English. Duties: ? Preparing or cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods ? Preparing and cooking special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef ? Oversee kitchen operations ? Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies ? Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment ? Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers ? Making sure customers receive quality food and service to meet the quality control standards ?
