<p><b><span>With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.</span></b><br> </p><p><b><span>?<i>At Home Depot HR professionals are inspired by our values to be architects of a great place to be.?</i></span></b><br> <br><b>Position Purpose:</b> To act as a business leader who builds an engaged workforce that meets current & future needs in response to our business trends using the Home Depot values to guide all actions/decisions.<br> <br><b><span>Position:</span></b><b><span> Store Human Resources Manager</span></b><br> <br><b><span>Associate Engagement</span></b></p><ul><li>Role model for living our values everyday and fostering a high level of associate engagement</li><li>Oversee consistency, fairness and detailed completion of key positive associate relations practices: regular town halls, investigations, performance management, compensation, health and safety, recognition, open door policy and communication processes</li></ul><p><b><span>Workforce Planning</span></b></p><ul><li>Complete an annual workforce plan for the store including talent, recruitment and cross training strategies and ensure the store workforce reflects the diversity of the local community</li><li>Identify current/future staffing needs; Initiate, coordinate and participate in Store Job Fairs</li><li>Build and Edit Weekly Staffing Schedules</li><li>Lead the store quarterly talent discussions and succession planning process</li></ul><p><b><span>Strategic Priorities and Business Support</span></b></p><ul><li>Support leaders implementing change initiatives and responding to challenges</li><li>Share and apply industry trends to critical initiatives</li><li>Review customer satisfaction scores to identify trends in key focus areas of opportunity</li><li>Participate in Weekly Business Walks to support and coach leaders in order to enhance selling and service behaviors</li></ul><p><b><span>Experience/Knowledge</span></b><span> <b>Required:</b></span></p><ul><li>3 -5 years HR Generalist experience preferred but not required</li><li>Broad knowledge and experience across the many HR disciplines</li><li>Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including some evenings/weekends</li><li>Retail or Hospitality experience an asset but not required</li><li>Team player with strong interpersonal skills and able to influence others</li><li>Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize and customer service driven</li></ul>- LocationCalgary, AB
