*Job Description:*
Freedom Cannabis Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at our state-of-the-art indoor production facility in Acheson, Alberta. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our electrical systems to support the production of high-quality cannabis products.
*Responsibilities:*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with electrical codes.
* Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments or repairs.
* Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with production equipment and processes.
* Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance and repair work performed.
* Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
* Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical installations and upgrades
* Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure smooth operations
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with power sources
* Build and assemble electrical components when necessary
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuitry, and control systems.
* Proficient in using electrical test equipment and hand tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with cannabis production processes is a plus but not required.
