Job Description: Electrotechnician: Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, the electromechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, modifies, repairs, and adjusts various mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment while adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities Ensure the proper functioning of production equipment Oversee programming and proper functioning of PLCs Perform repairs and adjustments on various automated equipment (troubleshooting) Make modifications to PLC and PC programming Optimize and improve manufacturing processes and machine sequences Be responsible for instrumentation Work closely with production team members to identify equipment-related issues and find solutions Install various types of automated equipment Develop technical expertise for problem-solving and continuous equipment improvement Follow up and implement the preventive maintenance program Participate in the modification, improvement, and implementation of the production line Manage priorities based on production emergencies Ensure continuity of tasks between different shifts Apply company health and safety regulations at all times Write follow-up reports Comply with HACCP and SQF standards Onsite in Rougemont or St-Damase (Qc) 4 days of work per week Requirements Required Education and Experience D.E.C. or D.E.P. in electronics or instrumentation Two (2) years+ of experience as an electrotechnician in a manufacturing environment Holder of an Electrical Certificate (CÉ) or ?C? license Experience in electrical component welding (essential) Desired Skills Strong teamwork skills Logical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities Versatile, autonomous, and adaptable Curious, with a strong sense of initiative and resourcefulness Ability to work in a constantly changing environment Good manual dexterity Must have own basic toolset Benefits Competitive salary with opportunities for career advancement and development Access to group insurance, a pension plan with employer contributions, and an employee and family assistance program Employee recognition and health and wellness programs Company-organized activities
