The Supervisor is responsible to identify and schedule professional clinical services and plays a key role in the achievement of pharmacy excellence in the areas of customer service, workflow efficiencies, PROfile programs and inventory management. Actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment.This role is based out of the Annapolis Valley in NS. As a Relief Pharmacy Assistant Supervisor, you will travel to locations within this area.Here's where you'll be focusing:Schedule pharmacy assistant(s)Coordinate the pharmacy work flowManage department personnel which includes scheduling, recruitment, performance management and trainingCoach pharmacy assistant team to deliver superior customer experience by actively contributing to a health & wellness environmentPromote PROfile Programs and educate PA'sCommunicate operational requirements/changes to the pharmacy support staffComplete monthly reportingSupervise inventory managementProcess customer transactionsPrescription assembly, refills, compoundingAdministrative duties, filing, supplies, cleaning andReceive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveriesData entry, Manual Third Parties, cycle counts, narcotic counts, TML'sProduct Order receiving, deliveries, drug order creationPill pack assemblyBTC Management and Return to StockRx Will Call/Release (guidelines)Responsible for ensuring that OH&S, and other regulatory requirements and procedures, are implemented and maintainedAssist with other pharmacy operations as requiredWhat you have to offer:Technical Skills: Above average communication skills (both oral and written)Strong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently in a fast environmentAbility to multi-taskEducation and Experience: Required: High School DiplomaMinimum 2 years' experience as a PA or equivalent experience.Knowledge of MS Suite Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technician Certificate or equivalent recognized programWe offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package, which varies by role and designed to help our teammates to live better - physically, financially and emotionally.
