Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of staff members. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Create employee schedules and assign duties to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, following health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide training, and address any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a related role is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and health regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Experience in cash handling and managing budgets
- Familiarity with bartending techniques is a plus
- Ability to interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff members
