As a Merchandising analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our merchandising strategies and activities across various initiatives. We are looking for a passionate, curious, customer-obsessed, and entrepreneurial individual to join a diverse and driven team.Here's where you'll be focusing:Evaluate promotional opportunities across competitive flyers on a weekly basis.Identify and implement Verified Price opportunities with urgency.Facilitate communication and collaboration between different stakeholders (Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Merchandising) , ensuring consistency and clarity in action being taken.Support various teams within the department by providing flexible assistance and contributing as needed.Responsible for providing immediate and ad hoc support for the merchandising solutions team.What you have to offer:Bi-Lingual preferredAt least 1 year of merchandising or relevant experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPointAbility to work in a fast paced dynamic environmentProject Management and SAP is an assetAt Sobeys we require our teammates to have the ability to adhere to a hybrid work model that requires your presence at one of our office locations at least three days per week.
