*Tire Technician Job Description*
Shift:
? Monday to Friday (Saturdays if needed)
? 11 AM - 8 PM or 2 PM - 10 PM (may vary based on workload)
Pay Rate: $19 - $22 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate
will perform tire-related services and maintenance on all rolling equipment while adhering
to safety and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
? Perform tire repairs, tire switches, tire replacements, and tire inspections on all rolling equipment.
? Maintain accurate records of tire inventory and usage.
? Complete all tire change tags and brand tires with branch numbers.
? Conduct daily tire checks, recording air pressure, inspecting for cuts, assessing the
general condition of all tires, and ensuring wheel lugs are tight and wheels are straight.
? Maintain a clean and organized work area.
? Comply with all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
? Assist shop mechanics as needed and perform miscellaneous equipment cleaning.
? Maintain attractive grounds by picking up and removing debris.
? Stay updated on new technology through technical manuals and training seminars.
? Attend safety and branch meetings.
? Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
? High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Possession of a valid Commercial Driver?s License (CDL).
? Ability to meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to company
standards.
? Candidates Must wear CSA Approved Steel Toe Workboots
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
? Ability to operate necessary equipment.
? Ability to read and comprehend company policies and procedures.
? Ability to write simple correspondence, including daily paperwork and reports.
Physical/Mental Demands:
? Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl,
talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell.
? Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
? Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds,
and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
? Ability to work in typically loud environments.
Working Conditions:
? Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, hot and cold weather conditions,
moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes, and
airborne particles.
? Regularly works outdoors and occasionally in high or precarious places.
? Work environment is typically loud.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Overtime

* Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
