We are seeking an Apprentice Industrial Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Operations and Equipment Manager and will be responsible for assisting in repairing, troubleshooting, and optimizing all electrical equipment, with a primary focus on centrifuge control panels. This role will largely operate independently while also requiring collaboration across various divisions to provide expertise on electrical components within our equipment fleet.

*Responsibilities include:*
* Assist in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues on various equipment, particularly centrifuge control panels.
* Performing routine maintenance to ensure optimization of electrical systems
* Assisting in the optimization of our current fleet of control panels
* Making recommendations for future design and new builds
* Assisting in the training of solids control technicians, shop personnel and other departments as it pertains to electrical controls
* Ensuring quality control and keeping accurate service and maintenance records of work completed
* Troubleshooting issues with control panels in the field or providing instruction over the phone
* Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems,
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and electrical code specifications for company equipment and panels
* Diagnosing and determining solutions for technical equipment issues; performing updates on equipment as needed
*The desirable candidate will possess the following:*
* Electrician ? 3rd or 4th year
* Exposure to electrical controls, including PLC?s and VLD; oilfield experience is an asset
* Minimum of 1 year electrical and instrumentation experience, especially with control panels or similar equipment is desired.
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Self-motivation, strong attention to detail and safety conscious
* Desire to learn, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize tasks
* Ability to perform physical requirements of the job and work in a drug and alcohol-free environment
