The successful candidate will have the following: Educational & Experience Requirements:College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field. 3-5 Years experience Experience working with computer assisted drafting (CAD) and surveyingStrong communication, organizational and time management skillsExperience working with Civil 3D and REVIT is considered an asset.Experience working in civil construction is considered an asset.Experience working for local market municipalities is considered an asset.Experience working both within a larger team and independently is considered an asset.Main Duties:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following: Surveying / Municipal field inspections. Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Developing and maintaining company-wide CAD templates and standards. Work with experienced multi-disciplined team to produce designs. Support field staff and contractors with project construction data and information. Providing quality assurance for CAD deliverables. Provide project quantities and cost estimates. Preparing as-built drawings as per requirements of local jurisdiction. Provide drafting support to all departments. Adhering to all company policies. Other duties as required.Position: Full time (37.5 hours per week) Must have a valid driver's license Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
