\*\*Job Overview:\*\* We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist Senior Paralegals in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining case files. \*\*Responsibilities:\*\* - Conduct legal research using tools such as In-Health - Assist in drafting legal documents and correspondence - Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files - Provide administrative support to Senior Paralegals including clerical tasks - Handle phone calls and communicate with clients professionally - Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Assist in project management and coordination of case-related tasks - Perform data entry and document management tasks \*\*Experience:\*\* - Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role preferred - Proficiency in using legal research tools - Strong writing skills with attention to detail - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Ability to handle clerical duties effectively - Proficient in proofreading legal documents for errors - Familiarity with project management principles is a plus - Strong data entry skills for maintaining accurate records This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced Paralegals, gain valuable legal experience, and contribute to the success of our legal team. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Commission pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Paralegal: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationScarborough, ON
