CUSTODIAN (SUPPLY) <p>The Supply Custodian, reporting to the Principal, is responsible for providing a safe and clean work environment for staff and students, by performing general cleaning and maintenance duties to the school property and grounds. Supply Custodians are scheduled on an as-needed basis, Monday to Friday, with an hourly wage of $24.29 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate cleaning equipment to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, etc.<p> Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.<p> Empty trash cans and other waste containers.<p> Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.<p> Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.<p> Tend grounds and plants as required by the Principal.<p> Clean and disinfect washrooms, lunchrooms and fixtures.<p> Move furniture, equipment and supplies.<p> May perform minor repairs as required.QUALIFICATIONS Previous custodial and/or cleaning experience is required;<p> Previous custodial and/or clearing experience in a school environment is an asset;<p> Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs;<p> Ability to work as part of a team;<p> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;<p> Proficient computer skills are required; experience with Google Workspace is an asset.If you are interested in this position: <p>Individuals wishing to apply for a Supply Educational Assistant position are asked to submit their application through Apply to Education.
