Responsibilities
Tasks

Conduct performance reviews

Draw facility’s building, equipment and major components

Evaluate or assess industrial facilities to ensure that all opportunities for improvement have been explored

Find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes

Plan plant layouts and facilities

Analyze costs of production

Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs

Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities
Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
